I'm not. Dudes like that deserve to be laughed at imo. There are nikkas working their asses off just for the chance to get into the league, just for one shot, one moment on that field or court. I can't respect people who take that for granted, or who purposely cause distractions just because they're me me me. TO is fit enough to still play in the NFL; he drops balls but if he was a stand up dude, he'd have a spot on some team. But because everything is about him, teams can't take that risk. Same with Chad Johnson.

And AI? This nikka burned every possible bridge when he was in Detroit. He was in an even better situation in Memphis - they were getting better, winning, he was in that coveted vet leadership position...and he threw it away because he didn't want to come off the bench. AI might still be in Memphis if he wasn't a cancer; Memphis is a good team now and going places...

I feel bad for people like Tracy McGrady who put in the work, the effort, the drive...yet got taken out the game due to unforseen issues (injuries).

I agree with you but I'm gonna also assume that many of the bolded are not used to ppl kissing their ass 24/7. Instead a lot of these guys feel like they have something to prove 24/7. Iverson don't think he gotta prove shyt to anybody. I think sometimes we forget just how much ass kissing these guys have received since high school. They are very much use to everything being "me me me" cause the ppl around them made shyt all about them always. Does this excuse their actions? Why tarnish his legacy. There are people saying that Jorden coming back in '01 was a bad decision. So A.I. Former scoring champ, MVP, All star perennial would definitely tarnish his legacy especially if the D-League dont lead to making an NBA roster.

I think Iverson knows his time is up. He's basically saying he wouldn't turn down the opportunity if an NBA team called, but he's not so set on proving himself to the point where he will go the D-League route.

This is the most logical post in this thread. Iverson wouldn't turn down an NBA opportunity but at this point I don't think he wants to be working his ass off to get it either. I think he's pretty much come to grips with not playing in the NBA again.

It may be true. There was a dude I went to high school with who was an AI cheerleader. This nikka LOVED AI. Dude is 100% straight but if you said, AI got dude to suck him off, I wouldn't even put it past him...that's how much this nikka was on AI dikk with his cheerleading ass.

You mean rich people always pay off everyone they owe money to all the time? No, I think this is more of a forgot to/didn't want to/don't wanna deal with it type of situation. The fact they seized his bank account, means he actually has the money to pay it. They didn't seize his assets or anything.
