you act like no one owns a PC and consoles. I'm sure there's people that decided yesterday to put off buying a next gen console to buy a new Nvidia card. if the consoles got out there first with a price and pre-order, things might have been different

Xbox dominates Steam?Damn no mention of PlayStation means you waving the flag on this one huh
Now tell us all, how much will it cost total to have a PC equivalent to everything the series x does. Or are we just plugging controllers and monitors into the gpu and calling it a day?
Need you to keep it all the way 100 here, thanks
And you do realize console gamers don't wanna play with PC gamers who aim with keyboards and mice, they don't play sports games like that, and most ppl who games in general do so on console. Please don't compare super mario to dota and say it's all the same. PC heads be having celebrations when console games get ported. Xbox dominates steam, fukk outta here

As for the other components in a PC, it’s far easier for the average person to justify spending money on a new computer than a device only used for playing games, with no killer app at that. Between the Xbox having zero enticing offerings, and Game Pass being on PC, the average console buyer would most likely choose the PS5 for couch gaming, and build a pc for “productivity” plus gaming. Clear?
I'd wager that the average person has a laptop and not a desktop. Building a PC is a non-trivial expense, even when compared to a console. If you're not an enthusiast or don't have the money and still want to game, a console is the only option. From then on it's on that consumer to decide Xbox vs PS5. The PS5+PC and why bother with Xbox debate really only applies to people who have the money to throw at building or upgrading a computer.Xbox dominates Steam?

ThisI just don’t have the patience to be “building” shyt.. have they released something that I can plug in an play PC wise?
The PS5:
- has a handful of promising next gen exclusives announced for ps5 (HZD2, DS, RandC and the spiderman spinoff come to mind)
The SX:
- is more powerful the ps5 and is also reported to play mutliplats better
- will have total cross-generational BC with a next gen boost for every xbox game ever created (ps cant even promise basic BC for all ps4 games)
- has twice as many next gen game announcements than the ps5
- has forward compatibility for controllers etc when the ps5 doesnt
- will have a 1TB standard storage compared to ps5's ~800gb standard storage out the box
- is the only next gen console able to run games with 2 petabytes worth of data like MSFS due to cloud infrastructure (imagine what other ground breaking games that tech will produce down the line)
- has more promising next gen exclusives announced than the PS5 (HB2, fable, Gears 5, ORI, Project mara, SOD3, MSFS Ultra and Avowed come to mind)
You're not paying for the Series X?page 1 actually made me
yall stanning so hard you not even using common sense
1st and foremost and the biggest glaring issue is....
The average console game on PC is not good or optimized correctly and that's if you are lucky, most are a glitchly mess and get released at a later date than the console game release. They also tend to get lackluster long term support compared to the main stream console counterparts.
Pay 499 to play xbox games via game pass anyway brehs
While rolling the dice on a PC version even being release day and date if not at all, and not being a terrible mess of a port.
Lastly
So caught up in "bashing" or just not getting an xbox while at the same time acknowledging the benefits of gamepass and simultaneously trying to hate on it too
But hey if the soup up PC for multi plat games is best for you Enjoy it, just make sure to post up your xbox gamer tag when you get gamepass.
