you incredibly emotional. I didnt say anything of what you just mentioned. go re -read what I said and come back when you've settled down. Sounds to me you feel inferior. why? I have no clue, I didnt say Africa was better then anything. all I said was for the people who are "ashamed" of africa, it makes no sense, when we are very successful people. somehow you read that and interpreted it as me saying you should bow to Africa? wtf is wrong with you idiot? :heh:

anyhow, im not gonna let you ruin my mood right now...we good over here.

By claiming that Blacks "distance" themselves from Africans, you are painting us in a bad light. You have zero clue in what you are talking about. What is your proof that we "distance" ourselves? How do you distance yourself from something that doesn't affect or play a part in your life? The Western Hemisphere in general doesn't think about Africa like that. It's hard for Blacks to distance themselves from something they were never close to. You have history and culture well past 500 years. We've only been free the last 150 years. Let us rock.

first, I never said all of them do...ive had alot of interaction with african americans. and alot of them give off the impression like they dont want to be associated with africa...thats why i said they try to distance themselves from us...they know they came from africa and yet they get offended if you call them african...thats distancing themselves from where they come from.

I dunno whats so hard to understand? like i said I dont have a problem with AA's ..to me its the AA's that have an issue with us. . hence you saying im the "type of african" you cant fukk with :yeshrug: thats on you breh. I fukk with all my black people no matter where they reside. I know who the real enemy is, and its definately not my brother :childplease:

Wanting to be called "Black" and not "African American" is not distancing from Africa. It's acknowledging and instilling pride in what we have accomplished in America. A Jamaican immigrant, a Ghanian, a Canadian Black all immigrate to USA and are all "African Americans", it's not a specific term. It's a catchall for ANY African from ANY part of the world living in America. We are African American but more specifically, WE ARE BLACK. I don't have issue with any other African that ain't from America and shows respect, only when you think you have the right answers and can tell us what we should call ourself or how we should view the world. You don't have a seat at the table.

What americans do is no different than an Algerian (Karim Benzema/Zinedine Zidane) claiming he's French. Or a Ghanaian (Danny Welbeck) claiming he's British. Let them do them. It aint that serious

Yes, because those guys were actually born in those country, and they can go back 10 generations and all of their family members are born in the same country. Not a single Black American is just a "Ghanian" or an "Algerian", we are all mutts with different African nations in our blood, Whitemen, Native Americans, etc. I doubt African nations teach you ignorant fukks this though because it was your bytchazz ancestors who sold our people out in the first place.

Breh, you can call yourself whatever you want. as an American, you dont know whats its like to be first gen african..your perpective would be different..and as an african, we dont know what its like to american..our perspectives would be different as well. so an african may unintentionally offend you with his views, and AA's may unintentionally offend us. :yeshrug:

as long as we both know where we truly come from. im tired of seeing black people fighting with eachother. them cacs are still winning after all these years :snoop:

Not Japan
Africans need to let go of that superiority complex. Chances are your family ain't shyt. It made (and still makes) me upset when my mom would get pissed and ramble about nonsense when I showed interest in AA women.

the internet
The africans that come over here usually made it here because they were "go-getters".

they hate seeing people being unproductive
thread should have been closed after this.

Every last person ive talked to has said this. People from other countries hate seeing Americans complain because people in this country have no idea what bad really is.

LOL

So there aren't Black American go-getters? You do realize the percentage of Africans that get admitted in to the states are heavily vetted so that only the best, skilled, and brightest get over?
