They're literally making money out of human suffering.
Every American should actually research their retirement packages and mutual fund investments. If you have money in a 'technology' exchange traded fund(ETF) one of the companies in that fund could be Boeing, Northrop, or Raytheon.
Because retirement packages are invested in the stock market, the government also has an incentive in making sure these companies continue to make money since they've slithered into so many funds that a majority of people don't realize they're funding companies that they may have strong personal objections to.

When you see the amount of money wasted on these Government contracts it's mind boggling. One of the reasons I left that industry completely corrupt. And they treat workers like crap.

Absolutely. If the big boys land a big project as a prime contractor they have to spend a significant portion of their award with subcontractors

It should be noted that a lot of those contracts are a waste. Excess money with nothing to spend it on, so they throw shyt at the wall, so they don’t lose out on it.
CDAO announced last Thursday that the ecosystem — known as Open Data and Applications Government-owned Interoperable Repositories, or Open DAGIR — will enable the Department of Defense to scale its use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities through greater collaboration with private sector partners.
Palantir said it received a $33 million prototype Other Transaction award from CDAO “to rapidly and securely onboard third-party vendor and government capabilities into the government-owned, Palantir-operated data environment to meet priority combatant command digital needs.”

Big money will be flowing into PLTR. JADC2 is basically the DOD's plans to have every branch of the military know everything about each other while on the battlefield.
