When you see the amount of money wasted on these Government contracts it's mind boggling. One of the reasons I left that industry completely corrupt. And they treat workers like crap.

Contractors, as usual, are raping us with these contracts. They lock in fixed price contracts and make a 40 to 50% killing in profit. These nikkas hit a lick off us like its nothing

And for even smaller compaines on the software side, they are using Fedstart.

It seems a growing trend is the thinking of any country can make things go boom. But he who holds the advantage on the software/tech side will be the winner in future wars.


I think this is partly playing out with Ukraine and Russia.

My sense that this is already happening in China.

All that "drones instead of fireworks" stuff. They just did that for Deadpool v Wolverine.

DJI is already the master of making those drones mad cheap, and Ukrainians been using them.

The next gen will be cheaper, faster, smaller, and more deadly (more targeted)...

Big players are gonna snatch up the software, and go for the high end...

Cost Plus contracting. they need a new doo dad and they pay for the R and D and a production run with the profit margin baked in.

This is before the product is even designed. You could literally make up any number for the unit cost of said doo dad
