My sense that this is already happening in China.

All that "drones instead of fireworks" stuff. They just did that for Deadpool v Wolverine.

DJI is already the master of making those drones mad cheap, and Ukrainians been using them.

The next gen will be cheaper, faster, smaller, and more deadly (more targeted)...

Big players are gonna snatch up the software, and go for the high end...

Is there room for cats to make better carbon fiber wings and bodies?
Smaller electronics?

Just testing the parts with current off the shelf technology?

Or I dunno, cheap rocket powered nets to bring them down?

I mean, the only way to stop these drone swarms or hypersonics is to knock out the electronics. I think the US is being purposely obscure about what they have.

The drones are going to get smaller though. I can see them becoming insect size in the near future, and maybe they don't have the same explosive payload, but maybe they're made to take out an individual soldier or battalion with some kind of poison or sonic sound that's hard to even detect or see.

The cutting edge technology is definitely for the big boys, but coming is as a small time defense contractor... Maybe supplying the battle field cushioned cases that drones come in...
