What I find funny is that there are so many experts on here when it comes to health and diet yet just based on what people post you can tell they have no idea what they are talking about. Like I say fitness/health threads are always the most entertaining ones to read :laff: :laff: :laff: :laff:

I challenge everyone in this thread that is physically able and interested in fasting to join me and many others in fasting for the remainder of Ramadan. Try not to eat or drink anything, including water from sunrise to sundown. See if you can make it until the end of Ramadan in April.

If you take medication or have underlying illnesses then please do not take this challenge. However I would be interested in hearing how many people could actually do it. Please remember to get up early enough to eat your breakfast and to drink plenty of water to carry you through for 14 hours each day. Also remember to take your time breaking the fast each evening. Your gallbladder will appreciate it. I usually eat a banana to break my fast.

Lots of my friends do this, or various other trends, diet culture is kind of a sickness in American. Not to criticize too much, for my friends, I always ask what the fukk is this for? To lose weight? to be able to not eat for hours at a time? Why? I can do that, but you are just way more on point when you have a balanced/decent meal.

I am in good shape, walk 8 miles a day. Slim, but work out.

every week or every month they have a new TIK TOK diet thing. My homie said he was going to eat just sardines the other day. I said that's straight out fukking insane. All sardine diet lol or an all meat diet. it's all content.

That whole intermittent fasting is a bunch of bullshyt.

It just allows people to continue eating like shyt in a smaller window of time instead of eating healthier foods to get in a caloric deficit.

Yeah intermittent fasting has people eating less, healing illnesses, healthier overall.

All of which fukks up the bottom line for the food and medical industry. These nikkas want you fat and unhealthy so you keep buying food and medicine, its a vicious cycle that keeps their pockets fat.

I wouldnt wish this article on my best enemy ⚰️

I’m not believing this intermittent fasting as long as your drinking water and staying hydrated it should be fine. I’ve been doing it for over 5 years now and it put my ulcerative colitis in reamission.

Are TOO many ppl exercising now, fasting, cutting fast-food out their diets, not smoking, cutting out soda, ETC? These hospitals across the country have gotten richer and richer, off ppl having heart attacks, heart failure, procedures, ETC. These health-networks have expanded everywhere and need to maintain their bottom-lines, on top of satisfying their shareholders. Again...do these folks truly want u healthy?
I stopped believing studies and statistics years ago. Even the ones that confirm what I already believe. Can’t pick and choose imo.

I notice too many contradictions and agendas.

I just experiment and listen to my body.

Fasting has benefited my body greatly.
