If the experts are against it it must work. These same people fall over themselves to rush out a drug with 80 side effect...hide the effects at the bottom of the screen...then attach a catchy jingle over all the bs like that makes it right.

So...I sat and read through the whole. Evidently the details of what they actually ate during the 8 hours wasn't released with this. Propaganda red flag.

Apparently a number of individuals who participated already had both heart disease and cancers. Numbers also not released. Propaganda red flag no. 2.

Fasting if you have health complications like Diabetes is harmful though

the body is using way less energy while immobile so perhaps the negative effects of that "fasting" is negated.

Fasting been part of human history since day dot, our bodies are designed for it, we literally we store fat for energy so we can fast. Its nothing new.

The constant eating for the masses is relatively new in human history, damn even growing up our grandparents would say no snacks etc. No surprise the abundance of food and crap has coincided with the obese and health issues.

You wont die from fasting, we do it every night. Doctors even tell you to fast before certain surgeries. Many Religions do it.

I've been doing IF for years, so much easier to be in a calorie deficit, not to mention the health benefits to do with bad cells etc

there's many people who don't eat often or a lot in their culture and live longer. fasting is not harmful to everyone.

i'm not on board with the idea of fasting being bad in general at all.

Are TOO many ppl exercising now, fasting, cutting fast-food out their diets, not smoking, cutting out soda, ETC? These hospitals across the country have gotten richer and richer, off ppl having heart attacks, heart failure, procedures, ETC. These health-networks have expanded everywhere and need to maintain their bottom-lines, on top of satisfying their shareholders. Again...do these folks truly want u healthy?

Obesity and its related effects like diabetes are ON THE RISE. Hospitals in this country are closing every year. Doctor shortage is getting worse every year.

Seems to be okay for the Type 2 folks. Of course Type 1 people should monitor at all times and eat if it gets bad or not do it all.

My natural eating habits lean toward 16:8 intermittent fasting. It wouldn't be much of a change, if any.
It isn't just eating. It's also drinking. It's a dry fast, not a water fast. Because you can't drink to mask hunger it's actually harder than a water fast.
