Like i said. Taking a rematch in Dec is a mistake. Spence needs feelers at 154 to make sure he is even ok.

Not taking the Thurman fight was a mistake and if you all remember the Thurman fight was supposed to be at 154 per the rumors which speaks volumes imo when you think about it.

Spence is still a good boxer.

A good boxer knows how to work behind the jab, which is what Errol does.
When that jab is working dude can absolutely go to work and put on a boxing clinic.

A great boxer though can make the adjustments when their jab is taken away. The best boxers are multi-layered.

Last night showed the diff between Generational greats and All time greats.

Morning after, still crazy to think about. Who can give Bud a real challenge?
At those weights, nobody.

It's funny, all the best boxers right now are so clear cut above everyone else in their division and surrounding weight classes.

I think the exception is Usyk because Tyson Fury is there (I really think that's a 50/50), but if dude dropped back to Cruiserweight it's basically his division.

Every other top 5-skilled boxer though aren't being touched by any opponent in their division.

They just don't get it..diminishing Spence diminishes Crawford
Not really. Crawford could retire today and be a 1st ballot HOFer
The only thing diminished is the narrative about Spence and the other PBC welters being vastly better than the other dudes Bud beat up with ease
Crawford is basically GOAT tier for his era, acknowledging that Spence is good but probably not an all timer doesn't change that

Spence was sluggish...was simple as that. Got countered easy and without much trouble. He still has the resume at Welter that actually beat champions and not a Jeff Horn. Let's see Crawford continue to make good fights..follow the example that Spence has set.

At this point the play should he
Mell and then Canelo fantasy match at a 164 catch weight then retire.

Spence is a generational great idc what anyone says. He cleaned out his generation and last night was the defining moment for men to see who was generationally great and who was all time.

I don't get it though cause I think Spence did exactly what he usually does. That is pressing the action, even if he's not as reckless with it as say a Maidana or Porter. He did what he usually does last night, it's just Bud is better and had the prefect antidote. It's not like he went in there with the same approach he fought Mikey Garcia
Nah you can see Spence didn’t know what to do after bud was beating him to the jab. He was second guessing everything. Spence didn’t try to box him but he got caught up watching bud instead of fighting.
