Bud a good fighter but he didn't have to do Errol like that man.

spence was a good fighter but always was sloppy in a way. no head movement defensively and can't fight on the backfoot. and then staying in the high guard. that shawn porter fight let me know he was on borrowed time. shawn is athletic but the just the basic feints, studder steps and double triple jabs had spence uneasy all night.

combined with the accident, undisciplined lifestyle- it was inevitable. he should have took the fight back in 18, early 19 when bud was calling him out, would have been more competitive. but i guess its easier to drag up mikey garcia and fight shawn porter the "easy route".

i figured he would at least get maybe 1-2 earlier rounds before bud adjusted. but he really only got the 1st round and that's just cause bud basically gave that away to find his range.

cats talking about the weight issues but dude was eating burgers and all that stuff making weight on all the access, said the nutritionist was helping and that was the best he felt. then after the fight, we hearing all the stories/excuses from everyone.

i was at this fight- the energy was incredible there and that first kd- the t-mobile arena went crazy. i got the chills in there, felt anxious like i was fighting in there. after the fight, it was like a funeral, a lot of souls crushed. i won money on a bud knockout

and potentially can become undisputed in a 3rd weight class or might fight the top guy/ one of the faces of boxing at 168 in a superfight.

i'm not gonna go back and forth about the fight negotiations and history, but if spence wanted the fight earlier, it would have happened earlier. as soon as he put his foot down with his team- the fight happened.

I kinda always felt it was on Haymon and after listening to Crawford talk about it with Ward, it seems like that read the issue all along.

I'm not sure how moving up a division and grabbing a belt is not a meaningful fight, shyt the way it's looking right now that ass whupping may have sent Spence into retirement.
If Bud career is based on one win what does that say about the other fighters of his era since he's rated head and shoulders above them
Their legacies are what? Not being as good as him and either ducking or getting ktfo by him in the case of Porter and Spence
Maybe Spence didn't have the leverage to force the fight earlier than he did, remember Haymon iced Bud out like a whole year leading up and was offering Spence all kinds of in house match ups like Thurman, but he didn't make it any better with the side of the street talk

obviously you don't care about other fights, coming across a casual. you must have lost money on that fight. if you a real fan of the sport- you do care about other fights. i'm pretty sure you would care about spence next fight even if he fought a low level dude. just stop while you ahead.

no reason to put someone else down to big someone else up. if that was the only fight worth watching, what fights spence had that were worth watching? since that was his biggest challenge?

i'm not even knocking spence neither- i'm a fan of him and bud. of the sport overall. you actually downgrading your guy if he lost to a man who had no "fights worth peeping out beforehand"

This fight really got me back into boxing I be rewatching it anytime I can

It took me like 6 months to watch this fight in full again, and since then I've watched it probably 2 or 3 times. It's still the most memorable performance of the last 10 years easily. I don't think anyone in my lifetime will top Floyd Mayweather and his reign of dominance but if anyone comes close, it's Terrence Crawford. It takes a lot for me to say that because although I loved him when he fought on HBO I hated how his career went after Top Rank went to ESPN.

Anyway, watching this fight is like looking at old photos of an ex girlfriend and getting your heart broken again
