Shota Umino vs Kaito Kiyomiya - G1 Climax 2023 Block A day 3

Best match from the young guys I've seen so far. Crowd was game for a simple story of the promising star wanting to survive the invader. Kiyomiya did really well once he focused the work on the leg. Only thing that didn't make any sense was him never attempting to go back to the Figure 4 when there were 2 or 1 minute left. Loved how Shota sold during F4 stretch and how this draw felt like a W for him.

Yeah even though it ended in a "Draw" it's pretty clear Shota walked away with the W. Overall though, this G1 hasn't been top tier but it's above mid thus far. I don't have a clear winner yet though so at least it's unpredictable.

Overall I like the 20 minute time limit but the tournament is missing some 25+ minute epics
