90% of the games I buy are digital. It's just more convenient. It doesn't take long to download with my internet speed and no worries about scratching discs.
First off, we don't use disc anymore. If we was then we'd still be talking about space on disc and how these new games have surpassed the limit of the modern bluray. If you buy a game and don't have online? Good luck playing it
So anyfukkinways... so you got a bunch of ps3 and ps2 disc? You think you in the majority? We've all done it but as you get older, get a fam, move around a few times? Next thing you know it's holograms but if you're interested I got a bootleg of new Jack city on VHS, $1, you use cash app?
We 10 years strong and my old 360 hard drives still good to go, shyt hasn't failed yet...
So I ain't really worried about losing digital media, especially since compared to the past, PSN and XBOX Live are a core to gaming and absolutely needed. These servers won't be dying anytime soon to the point we lose shyt forever.
Brand new games are better physical cause you can sell them or trade them within a few months of release for a good return. Older games are better digital cause their often alot cheaper than physical. And their resale value is alot lower
