It's actually not as bad as I'm making it sound. I just went in under prepared. I should have done more work with arrays and maybe could have looked into some of Java's Collections classes. I tried to do an operation that a structure didn't support. My only saving grace was that they were generally able to follow my logic and what I intended to do. I'm not tripping though, I'm still collecting a paycheck. Not to sound fukked up, but could you tell us what happened so we can learn?
Fixed. You're selling yourself way too short and even the $85k may be low, but I don't know for sure how many years experience you have.Failed my sec+ back in april. Retaking it again this week coming up. Ima pass this time
First time I took it one of my pbq wasnt event working . I thought I was doing much worse but scored a 695 when a 750 is passing. Idk how close that was to passing
My problem areas are creyptography and idenity/ access mgmt.
This exam is annoying. Having to remember the differences between RADIUS, Kerberos, LDAP. Also, the different types of EAP. Like FAST, TTLS, TLS and PEAP. What I had to study was that EAP-TLS requires server and client authenication while the rest only hace server side requirements.
Also, what is included wit Type I, II, III authenication .
2 coworkers who work on my contract passed. And are starting their secret clearance background checks. They just waiting for me to pass, so that pressure.
Man with my exp, Sec+ and a secret clearance Im not getting paid less than $85K.

So does everyone. The clearance is the ticket. Pimp that bytch out and quit lowballing yourself. Ask the salary range before the conversation gets heavy, That way they can tell you and you can adjust from there.I lie bout my exp.
