Latter parts of 2018 got mad stressful but I still got two feet on the ground. Praise the Lord because honestly, some can't say the same. Without him I'd have been food in these streets. Praying 2019 starts off positively and I can go from there on out. Got my US citizenship in the works (finally filed, even though I was BSing for like 8 months and could have been naturalized by now) and potentially I land this new job with a significant pay bump. Should be debt free by early February at the latest. By my birthday in April my financial foundation will be air tight (took me a while to get to it, but better at 24 than later in life).
Once I transition roles I'll take a few weeks off to travel to Nigeria, scope out the economy, network and reflect on my mission in the US. Also de-stress a bit and visit family. I may try to sneak into SA, but that requires a visa and having a crystal clear date of when I plan on traveling which would be dependent on when I get a new position so TBD on that. If I can't slide into SA then def would hit up either Ghana or the East African Bloc (Kenya Rwanda and Uganda, most likely). 2.5 weeks would be sufficient for all that travel especially if I'm only doing Abuja and Lagos in Nigeria.
