I'm at the point where if there's more than 2 1 hour meetings in a single day, do not expect any work out of me that day and I'm gonna use that as an excuse for why i aint get shyt done that day on the next standup

. This scrum team been slipping deadlines since before me and my guy got brought on. I made a suggestion to the scrum master that should decrease that probability and he basically blows me off (

Never thought this was happening. Our company is getting rid of all offshore contractors.
Management has finally learned that even though they are cheaper up front, they cost more in the long run.

Yeah. We were paying offshore millions of dollars a yr and had project after project cancelled or didn't work.
With good people, you can replace 10 offshore people with 4 full-time employees. The 4 full-time employees may cost more on paper but you'll get good results( hopefully ), where as the 10 offshore people will keep delaying or can't get shyt to work and it just drags on. Now our competitors are beating us in technology.
