Man I got people on the job 20, 30, 40 years that are legit stupid. You got time3 months into this job and I still feel kinda stupid.

they implemented and office chore list they want people to volunteer to take care of because the office manager (who is also an EA) is being pulled into more EA duties and travel...so wait, you want to lure me back to the office to be your mammy? 
It's cutthroat out here.

. But yeah it was like that when they Thanos snapped half my team back in 2020. Called a meeting and said if you're in this meeting, you're safe. Check the attendee list and see some high profile missing names

shyt happened to me in 2021 - was talking on slack with someone about a project we were working on, had a half hour meeting, came back and couldn't find our conversation, thought maybe i "x'ed" out of it...tried searching them and saw the "deactivated" under their name

Two of them did the Slack disappearing act, the other I at least got an email.
I'm not worried about my spot, but it's a reminder to keep bringing value so I don't have to start worrying.

A few years back. Nap QA guy comes back from a meeting and packs up his stuff like normal because it’s the end of day. Next day, he ain’t there. That job sucked. Pay day was monthly. Australian company.
Would yall pursue a good opportunity right now? Recuriter reached out and the opportunity sounds pretty damn good. Is it worth pursuing? I'd hate to go through the whole process in a volatile market then get dumped a month in to the new gig.

I need to figure out how to finesse this next interview, i know they will ask questions about SCCM and bitlocker which i have minimal experience with… this heavyset receptionist got spicy with me today over something small, i cant take this deployment shyt anymore
