my cousin just hit me the other night...she was telling me her loan reimbursement checks from her job (shes a doctor) are coming in..thats good news for me because i actually cosigned one of her med school loans some years back...not the smartest thing i did but it was fam...so there was always the threat that if she didnt pay then i would have to...well by the end of the month i wont have to worry no more (not that i did as she did make her reg payments)..and a significant amount will be paid off and wiped off my credit report..i do expect to see a good boost in my score..one less loan lol

Do you guys worry about how perfect the resume is? I was at the job service and found out that the software Taleo or the company that handle resumes for most organizations doesn't allow lines or bullets in the resume.

So I was advised to have a resume with no bullets or lines for websites and have another resume for face to face interviews.

So I wanna know do you worry over the resume alot or just get the skills up and let everything handle itself?

I have a few product ideas. One that I make and use already, so I know it works. The others would have to be formulated or manufactured.

Also, I am thinking about selling my notes, the professors power point slides, lecture recordings, and other class materials including pdf versions of the books from my marketing classes. Would anyone be interested in buying them? How much would you pay?

Where i work it's part of the culture to at least send an email around invite the department to have a few drinks on your last day but i wasn't particularly social with anyone during my time here so i know nobody would show up but it still will look awkward if i just bounce

Typically, a manager or co-worker would setup the invite for you. I'd just bounce if they didn't

Not where I work breh it's usually the person who is leaving who sets shyt up and books the venue but it will look odd if i set something up hell i might be the only one in the office that doesn't speak to anyone outside of work related stuff.

Alright I'm gonna have to change up my approach to job hunting big time. I think I have too much content and I'm displaying too many skills. As of now I essentially have all of my technical knowledge represented on my resume in some form. Maybe if I dial it back a bunch I'll get the right interest.

Why would you even care to do that if you're leaving and it's the manager that sets that up
