Okay, if he was hurt, so what? He never was close to going down. If it wasn’t a big deal then why all of the posts about him getting “hurt”? It is a big deal, we know why, and that shyt is lame. Regardless of how the fight ended we can't ignore the work Haney was putting in in the 10 rounds before. It wasn't the most graceful finish but it beats the alternative of getting knocked out and losing the belt. So people can call him p*ssy all they want but he still the champ.

Entertaining fight. There are positives to draw, and aspects that Haney will need to work on. His power is an obvious weak point that will always make his fights interesting once he's facing top level guys like Tank or Teo.
Loma Haney would be an excellent fight now.

Like you said it earlier, it doesn't matter if he is young or old, if he has IT then no ifs or buts. Linares is a glorified gate keeper and haney made him feel like he still should be fighting for title's.

And let's not forget teofimo got stunned a few times by lomachenko late in that fight. For a minute it looked like Loma was gonna put him down. He came back nicely in that 12th though. But I feel like Haney definitely has the pop to hurt teo if he hits him clean. I still give him a 9/10 on this performance ......was almost a perfect 10 but he made a mistake and paid for it. I Think all these guys at 135 are pretty much the same level. I wouldn't place money on any of these fights.

the young boy did his thing esp against a very seasoned vet like linares...but yeah the last 2-3 rounds of that fight will stick out like a sore thumb even though haney was trading with dude
