Im with Fannon, Haney needs to prove his weight and get popping and him beating Shakur would do that.It will make them pay to see Devin get knocked out and if he wins, want to see him get knocked out in the future.
He’s seems like a good dude, but someone has to be hated. Floyd built a nice career off of that.
We are talking about Tank, the anomaly, so stay on topic. The belts don’t matter to Tank. This is silly. Somebody else tried to say the same thing very early in this thread. Having the belts and being champion directly effects most fighters livelihoods. This Davis/Garcia fight is an anomaly.
It just so happens that Garcia is a household name.
When it's all said and done both guys will have to start fighting top guys in their division, there's no way around it.
imo Haney staying at 135 cause he knows his power aint shyt at 140 so might as well try to get a Tank payday. If Haney loses to tank he has the Ryan excuse "I been killing myself at 135" that he has been using for a while.Im with Fannon, Haney needs to prove his weight and get popping and him beating Shakur would do that.
Floyd's father loves Haney...he got no problem saying he'll beat Tank..Tank wouldn't be where he is today without floyd, even with all da knockouts. Floyd promoted the fukk out of him, give him looks on big times ppv's and helped him get out of his shell.
They parted at the perfect time cause Tank no longet needs him, but you can tell he appreciates everything floyd did for him, and you can tell floyd still has love for him. Im sure tank hit him up some time during the weekend and asked him to do his pre fight pep talk lol.
Floyd makes himself the center of attention at times, but its still attention. Devin haney would be way popular under floyd

Shakur vs Haney doesn't make any real money, thats why I feel Shakur should try to get a Frank Martin fight and then winner of that fights Tank after Tank fights Haney (because win or lose Haney imo would move up to 140).
You’re right, Martin would be a good test for Shakur. But I don’t think Davis deserves Haney unless he can get through either Martin or Shakur.
Martin telegraphs that left hook like a mug and he gets into trouble when he deviates from his game plan. His power gets him out of dangerous situations, but I think Shakur’s accuracy, discipline, and evasiveness would expose him.
It’s a no brainer, but I wonder if Tank’s team will think it makes sense.
This would be a dangerous fight for both imo. Shakur doesn’t have the holes Tank’s previous competition had. Conversely, Shakur probably hasn’t faced anyone with the type of power Tank possesses, unless he gets Martin.
Tank just fought the same guy, ya boy Haney was begging to fight, and completely outclassed him.
Haney took 3 Ls to Ryan too.
Dudes ain’t elite if Tank fights them but if…
My casual take is if you a so called “too big” for ya weight class you should be KO’ing or giving folks Errol Spence type beat downs in them early weights until you hit your peak weightclass and then thats when you get into your pure boxing defensive guru bag.
Yea, that was some bullshyt lolThis is some twilight zone shyt
