They probably take money from daddy for a living while telling people they do "blogging" or in the midst of founding a "startup."

Ha. Or "marketing"

Idk, maybe it's just me being a hater..but it seems like daughters get cut more slack with pursuing bullshyt jobs than sons....I'd guess parents subsidize daughters rent more than the males. Browsing LinkedIn is a trip.

Immigrants from any third world country want to come to anywhere in the western world.

I am talking western world to western world immigration not third world to western world.

NO person who lives in Europe is running to move to New York of all places in the USA.

New York doesn't have a good living reputation. The first time every I know visited there from Europe we were left very

GREAT city to visit but not to live. Everyone knows New York is a great city But NOT for living.

An African Immigrant or Immigrant from any poor country is just trying to get the fukk out. Those of us already IN the western world have choice and NYC ain't it. People wanna move to the USA but not NYC. NYC and Vegas are places we visit then go home.

The fukking rats

Those small ass apartments

Sorry Breh but again, WRONG.

:childplease: people from Europe want to live out in Oklahoma or Kansas?
It's always NY, LA, MIA, breh.

After living here, it just feels like NYC is the most temporary living situation on planet earth.

A city of 24 million people built on an island with the highest cost of living in the country that's just going to get hit by tropical storm after tropical storm until the majority of it is underwater. Don't even get me started on gentrification.

I love this city though...

NYC population, all boroughs included is just over 8 million.

You'll be far from the city, the building probably won't be too nice, public transportation options will be limited, and this number isn't inclusive of broker fees, which are nearly mandatory in this rental market.

of course. you might be on the edge of the city but obviously you gotta take the good with the bad. If you want to get to the city there's always a train station a bus route away or you could pay 2000 a month for a studio just to say you live the dream of living in lower manhattan

I wouldn't call it the best city in the world to people who are walking around with a couple of dollars in their pocket

My guess would have been holistic health coach

I used to live with two girls when I first lived in Bushwick. One of them worked at American Apparel, the other did freelance graphic design and worked at a yoga studio.

When I moved in there, I was subletting for a girl who was a "professional life coach" and a masseuse...but somehow had enough money to go with her boyfriend to Burning Man and Berkeley CA to meet up with some friends.

Them girls were cute as hell though...

Living in NYC is a waste of time for 90% of the people out there.

Have fun living in "the greatest city in the world" with a checking account near zero, a metrocard and a pack of big red Brehs

Many need to move out to move back in. Trying to make it in nyc in your early to mid 20s is a big waste of time.

this is what I did when I went down south. My homeboys thought I was crazy until they scraped enough money together to rent a car and get all of their jobs to let them have the days off. They were looking at my simple 3 bedroom with a pool like I lived in a mansion shocked that you could go out a have dinner and drinks and not spend your life savings. What good is a 50k job if you're spending 49k on just bills and transportation?

Now im back and forth and I find myself hating having to buy things in ny as compared to everywhere elses prices.
