Hernandez had developed a reputation as a workhorse because of all the innings he could give you.
But he really wasn't that good.

I feel like Mark Buehrle was similar in that way. But you generally don't see players like that anymore in baseball.

How has the Players Union NOT addressed this blatantly flawed system?

I know they didn't wanna open Pandora's Box, but MLB really should have made an exception and overturned this call afterwards and credited Armando with a perfect game. It was the last out of the game, not a play that happened in the fifth inning. Nothing would have been affected afterwards; there was no butterfly effect possible.

Makes no sense. How is there even legal standing for these decisions when the arbitrators have minimal knowledge of baseball? Why isn't there a special committee setup for this consisting of people who really understand the game?
