Worst defense in the league can't get much worse. At least they'll score more.

I'm sure it'll be rough seas for a few years, but they're still babies. I wouldn't give up hope right away.

Isn't the goal to eventually win titles though?

You're not winning titles with two average interior defenders. Nerlens Noel is still a "baby" he's one of the best defensive players in the league already, Gobert in his 2nd year is the best defensive player in the league, dudes who are good defenders are known for it almost immediately.

You can't have them together, neither are viewed as good defenders, but putting them together is supposed to work out well as long as they give effort?

Cousins was a terrible defender early in his career and then Malone had him busting his ass this season before he got fired. It can happen.

Pau was considered a poor defender before he was traded to LA. And from 08 to 2010 he anchored one of the best defensive teams in the entire league. Yeah Pau was longer and more agile than Okafor, but I'm not buying that Jahil can't at least be a competent defender if he puts in the work to get better at that end.

The Kings suck on defense and that was such a small sample size, yet they're thinking of taking WCS to makeup for any of Cousins deficiencies and would have taken Noah Vonleh last year to mold into a defensive PF

And you said he's longer and more agile, Pau is a complete outlier in regards to his size for his position.

Randle and Okafor could be a really physical front line that could wear teams out.
