I heard that Cuban will try a last ditch effort to sign Roy Hibbert, potentially to a max deal if D-Will doesn't go to the Mav's. Also, Gerald Wallace is a potential player they might try to get too since he opted out in New Jersey. Also, it seems like Kendall Marshall is going to be the guy the Mav's are gonna draft in the 1st round. And they are gonna try hard to amnesty Haywood as well. So that's what "my sources" are saying lol

hibbert could do well with carlisle.

the problem is they blew up a team that made no sense to blow up.

it is like cuban had a wager at another casino,...

that had great odds on dallas not repeating.

plus, the payoff was better than winning the shortened season title again.

doug collins is one of the worst coaches,..ever.
i would not try to make sense of anything he does.

dude should go back to being an analyst.

i will say at least he finally won a game six....

other than that,..collins sucks....

he is cool. I liked the defensive mind set he had for the squad, but I hated how he treated Turner and kept him on the bench for most of the regular season. I was like the fukk is Jodie Meeks doing starting ahead of Turner for. It was like he was trying to ruin Turner. I don't get why he doesn't have ET as PG, the dude is hella good with the ball in his hands, but its whateva. I don't think Collins is that great of a coach that the league and people be saying about him with all the praise he gets

Well Batum would be in luck, because there isn't a guard or SF on this team that would be good enough to relegate him to the bench.

Courtney Lee's an option, just not an overly great one. And as far as being jerked for minutes, he averaged 30 mpg this season and averaged 11.4 ppg. He can shoot, but if he gets signed, they gotta get an upgrade at SF.

tre-kamla,.....

what is going on in minnie-ap.

all that firepower on the wing and at the two in minnie, never pans out?

Because they're were too many ball handlers in the first unit with Holiday and Iggy. At least Meeks can shoot the 3.

well i did notice what probably happens in phily with et.
et in practice probably gets his handle ripped up and exposed by the smaller holiday and meeks.

as i noticed in the celt's series.

et's handles are only mechanically a long wing forward stock type handles.
similiar to when i could rip up quintin brooks at msu,...even though he legit was probably a foot taller than me. a bigger wing/ballhandler should not have that happen.

et, doesn't have pg type handles with any slick.

so,..i wanna say from that observation is why et probably split minutes so much.

in the celtics series iggie and et's lack of real handles was exposed, big time.

as the smaller celtic guards avery and rondo.

were always able to consistently at will get in the pathway of their dribble. both those dudes do not know how to use their larger frames to protect the ball when handling the rock.

plus,..they have no slick to their ball handling skills to keep a defender at bay or honest.

after seeing that i could see how et was splitting minutes. as maybe collins's staff tried to teach him how to protect the ball better.

I think there will be a bunch of teams that will try overppaying Lou. He is good and is a really skilled offensive player, but the dude's defense sucks so much lol the dude can only be good as a 6th man type of player, but a team will try to overpay him I think. the dude is a terrible chucker, i still don't get how Collins allowed him to have the freest reign to chuck and shoot at anytime had me like :what:

lou williams is a better up and down player.

he is a better fit for a west coast loser culture type squad.
who will try to put a competitive squad on the floor who tries to compete by just scoring.

unless he ramps up on the defensive end,..he will always be a starting
shooter, on a loser squad.

or a energy bench player, with large volume short minutes on a winner.

dude is to long not to be better defensively,..he has no excuse.

Overall, they're just not good enough. There are more in-depth reasons for each individual, but that's what it has come down to: they're just not good enough.

I think Lou Williams will get a Chalmers type deal

3 year 12 mil-15mil

I don't see a 5 year deal there, but could be wrong

yea Thomas becomes a liability on defense a lot, but with the right players and a good defense, they can hid that. but, yea I see him as a Jason Terry type player, more-so Bobby Jackson 6th man type of player lol Thornton is a solid and really good shooter and idk I think he can be a starter, but I still didn't get why they moved Evans to the 3. I know he is lanky and a large wing span, but the dude needs the ball in his hands to be effective, it was sorta same as Evan Turner in Philly type situation. His stats were still fine and cool, its just that the Kings needs some really good veterans that can ball. the team is still hella young and stubborn as hell though. Big Cuhz has so much talent, its ridiciolous. like this dude imo is like a top 5ish center in the game already. He is talented, he justs needs direction and a vet, and I think him and the Kings can do some really good things. And that Bulls rumor, it seems like the Kings would give up a lot, but if they get both Deng and Noah, or Deng and Gibson, or any of those 3 combos I would do it ASAP if I was the Kings

I agree you can hide it buy putting him on the worse of the two guards, but you run into a problem when IT and Thorton are both on the floor, because that backcourt gets lit up. Reke you put him on the other team's best guard and let him go at him on defense.

People like to shyt on Reke and say he can't shoot and can't be a PG, but look at other similar PGs, DRose, TParker, and he's not a PG, but DWade, these dudes came in the league without a J, but worked on that shyt and got it to a respectable level. The dude's 22, I thought this dude was older than that dude should be a junior or senior in college now. The J is fixable and the dude started to shoot better the last month of the season.

The only reason they moved him to the 3 was because the team's 3 position is asscheeks :gag: and need to be thrown in the fukking bushes for real. I still don't know why they traded for salmons then signed fukking outlaw to that shytty deal. All the money they got tied up in them, they could of used and got a damn near all level player, they should go after Batum since he's a free agent. It'll give them a defender and 3 point shooter and they'll have a young core to work with.

PG - IT/Jimmer
SG - Reke/Thorton
SF - Nic Batum/TWill
PF - ???/ 5th pick
C - Big Cuz/Thompson

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
(Jeff) Green's life, let alone his profession, was on the line when his heart condition was discovered during a team physical last December. He had successful surgery to repair the aneurysm on Jan. 12 and has since returned to "100 percent," according to Falk. Now, he's ready to return to the livelihood that he loves.
Because Green became an unrestricted free agent in December after Boston withdrew its $9 million qualifying offer, teams are already calling Falk's office to discuss his possible exodus from Beantown. Free agency negotiations won't officially begin until July 1, but Falk said he has already had exploratory discussions with "12 to 14 teams." SI.com

Lou Williams is drawing “significant” interest around the NBA, with one source pegging Williams’ worth "in the Thaddeus Young range."

Young signed a 5-year, $43 million deal last December.

"It's impossible to gauge [how much a team would be willing to pay] because there are so many teams who have money and Lou certainly is a good player," Sixers president Rod Thorn said. "The natural inclination is for teams who have money to spend some of it, of course. The last couple of years, there are a lot of teams that have gotten way under the salary cap and I'm sure that Lou will get some interest from teams."

Williams plans to opt out of the final $6.39 million of his deal.

Jason Terry wants to sign a "long-term" contract this offseason.

“It’s a tough situation,” Terry said. “I’m finally in a position where I can kind of predict my own future, so to speak. I want to stay here in Dallas. That’s always been my goal. But it needs to be long-term. If they’re not ready to step up and do that, then I’ll have to make my home elsewhere.”

Terry isn’t interested in signing a one-year deal with the Mavericks.

“I won’t be here,” Terry said if the Mavericks take that route. “You can count on that. If they’re doing that, you won’t see the Jet on the runway in Dallas. But my time here was good.”

Saunders is positive Garnett, who is a free agent, will sign for another year with the Celtics, who have some rebuilding to do.

The Celtics are one the teams said to be considering a strong offer to Bulls center Asik. The thinking is it might help them retain Kevin Garnett, who though playing very well at center the second half of the season doesn’t want to return as a center

Patty Mills has reportedly decided to opt out of the final year of his contract.

''I feel like I need to do my due diligence and really go and see what there is to make sure I explore every option,'' Mills said. ''But in saying that, I really enjoy being in San Antonio and being part of that program. I definitely want it done soon and that is what I'm trying to do so that I can get it out of the way and go to London with a clear head with the Boomers.''

Mills averaged 10.3 points on 48.5 percent shooting in 16 regular season games with the Spurs.
