That's how your supposed to do it?
So is that how you do it then day to day?
80s baby here.. never seen anyone bench like that prior to youtube being a thing. Can you show me some power lifting videos (preferably 10 different lifters) lifting like that from video footage prior to 2000 ?
I understand its the trend now but to act like this always been the norm
Yes but most people are benching for volume in their chest area.
We can all be 'gym bro scientists' at the end of the day but I suppose everyone's body is different. Most people do flat bench and don't overarch their backs like retards for 2 inches of actual movement.
True but I looked her up and she's done 380 in competition, 540 squat.
You wanna see real ROM weakness.
What’s the point of lifting all that weigh and being obese?

Without heavy steroid use its basically impossible to be a legit power lifter and be skinny. You just need to eat too much to feed those muscles, you can't fukk around the lines and keep your body fat at 10% or you'll keep impeding your gains. Personally that's one of many reasons I'd never get into power lifting. But if you want to be at the top, that's the sacrifice you have to make.
This is the world-record men's bench press holder:
And FWIW this is the young girl's cousin.

Yea, but I don’t arch my back as much as that girl does.
? I asked for multiple examples (to set a standard) and also videos that would predate 2000 era you failed at supplying both, thanks for proving my point.
that in overall history of benching, this is not the standard or norm.
