My god it's like talking to a brick wall.

The statement "have premiums gone up because of [the] ACA" is a red herring because PREMIUMS ALWAYS GO UP. So don't even mention it. The rate of increase - again - is more important.

Do you understand the function of a high deductible plan? Do you even understand that the high deductible plan with a health savings account is a republican free market proposal? It's entire purpose is to force you, the consumer, to consume less health resources by forcing you to be more accountable in the health market place and shoulder more of the health costs.

Of course deductibles have increased when the ACA demands better benefit packages across the board. No longer can insurers give you a catastrophic plan and still hit you with medical blls that force you into bankruptcy :krs:

So of course deductibles have increased when insurance companies have to pay from their own pockets once you hit your limit.

It's like banging...my fukkn...head...against...the fukkn wall...

Every thing you cats hate about the ACA are conservative/republican principles - but you just voted in republicans and conservatives with even worse policy proposals! :deadrose:
Cognitive dissonance on full display in this thread. People have been fed the same talking points about the ACA for years now and they never fact checked them so now they can't see past them

And these posts are coming from adults with reliable internet access who could easily just read about the basics themselves. They're literally one or two clicks away.

These same people who vote based off misconceptions and misunderstandings.

Some real uneducated clowns in here. The ACA was keeping the wolves at the door. Them nikkas are about to have lunch now. You see...it's easy to do the mental gymnastics because the full effects haven't become apparent yet.

Republicans are about to have an absolute field day and fukk up as much shyt as possible. America is about to see what this new wave of conservatism for what it truly is. I doubt they'll like it much...you see...they bring out something unpopular like the ACA and make it a poster child for misery. Have folks rally behind getting rid of it. And then they start going after things that aren't as unpopular. Some things segments of the population actually like. Sin taxes are a huge example of this. It's all mind games. They'll end up convincing you that you don't deserve(although they'll tell you you don't 'need' it; see what a difference that makes?) shyt you paid into yourself for years. And you'll thank them. Imagine a robber snatching shyt right in your face and you thank him. No difference.

Now you wanna clown poor people like me. I think we can do fine by ourselves.

Why don't ya'll just leave me and my menial labor be?

Tell your boy I don't need him to help himself to my meager monies.

Post your bill and plan details in a pic and let's compare it later on when ACA is repealed.

Yeah, I had to call my mother the other day and tell her to go to the doctor now if she needs to. :beli:

She works part-time and her job doesn't provide insurance, so she has insurance thru the ACA (which I actually pay for). So I guess once they repeal it I'll have to pay for her to get more expensive private coverage.
