That mentality is why new talent rarely reaches superstardom in wrestling. The object of the match was to get people behind Darby and believe he can be a big star one day. The outcome hurt Jericho not one iota and did wonders for Darby. He's a heel, heels take shortcuts. Especially when they have a big group behind them. It would actually make less sense for nobody in a heel stable to run into a No DQ match to help their leader.

This the first week I didn’t remember or even care. I wasn’t really watching NXT outside of Takeovers and clips thru Twitter anyway before it came to TV.

I didn’t watch one second. When they did a bullshyt DQ run in on their biggest pushed match, and my second favorite wrestler is gone now, so my decision was justified
