I do like the build to MJF/Hangman that I assume happens at Revolution.

I can get behind a Statlander/Bayne match - new powerhouse vs old powerhouse of the division.

Gunn's have one of the coldest entrances in AEW.

Harley Cameron continues to knock it out of the park.

Good Texas crowd, looking forward to the Aussie show which I assume will have a hot crowd as well.

Stat is such a good talent and she shows how impressive she is when she steps in the ring. The match with Ford was good and better than the one Ford had with Rosa. She better get a reign with the main title.

Harley with a diss track on Mone’s own beat. :skip:

Whoever is responsible for this Company's direction since January deserves praise. There's still quality issues just because of the people who are around versus 2021/2022, but AEW has never been this solid show to show. The programming is coherent, good people are being given time, and the results are immediate. Several new or changed acts are over and involved in good, common sense wrestling programs and fans are responding well to them.

Agreed, a lot of course correction on things they’ve been fukking up on.

Pivoting away from Jarrett was very much needed.

The Dustin Rhodes thing with MJF was just to get Rhodes a good match for the home state crowd, and they used the time to concurrently build towards MJF-Hangman. It ended up being good match, not surprising there, so I'm cool with that.

Jericho is still doing most of the mic work for the Learning Tree, but his in-ring work is much more limited and it’s finally becoming a vehicle to push Big Bill and Bryan Keith.

The tag division is heating back up. The trios division is heating back up. Rather you like tag or especially trios stuff is a matter of subjective taste, but if they're going to have belts for the divisions, then they need to book the divisions to justify having the belts or get rid of the belts entirely.

Women are getting more time tv time. We're likely about to have a women's main event for a PPV/TV special for the first time in the company's history. We got programs building that don't involve the titles.

The Acclaimed had grown old and tired and is thankfully dead. Max Caster, much to my surprise, is killing it in this heel role.

I'm still far from sold on the Death Riders, and still do not particularly want Cope vs. Mox, but I don't hate it quite as much as I used to. It's getting less tv time and being a bit more logically booked. Interference in matches has decreased and used more logically. Post match beat downs still happen, but it's not being done to make the babyfaces look like complete morons.

The men’s midcard singles scene still needs a lot of work though. They got three of them but they are rarely ever defended anymore. Whatever happened to one of them being a workhorse title?

First thing I’d actually lead off with is something with Harley Cameron - rather that be a video package or her doing something batty - since she’s catching fire and that’s a character that can appeal to A LOT of people, even people who don’t like wrestling. She’s fukking gold. her and Toni Storm are in a league of their own in AEW in terms of character work. Harley’s the type of character that could appeal to people who aren’t necessarily into wrestling. Of course you’d need to show some other people involved on the card too, can’t just be only Harley and no one else because that would be a bit weird, especially since it won’t be the main event.

So you open with something from one of your most talented characters to show that AEW is more than the BS narrative of being nothing but matches, then lead into what will surely be the type of match that is most likely to demonstrate the high caliber of wrestling AEW provides in the Omega/Ospreay vs. DCF match.
