The argument isn’t “They shouldn’t have done the spot”

It’s “They did a poor job at giving the illusion of danger with the camera work.”

However, Bully Ray (like Mick Foley, Balls Mahoney, & Terry Funk) was always able to pull off comedy & hardcore in the same match. The fans laughed WITH him. Those same fans are laughing AT the AEW guys. There's a difference.

Also, Bully's comment about Nakazawa wearing the belts was 100% correct.

Kanyon getting thrown thru the stage in 2000 looks better than this. How are we going backwards? It's just like the barbwire match. FMW paved the way and they went backwards somehow. I like AEW but they can't get right when it counts so far.

Tony should’ve done a few run throughs of that spot and that spot alone to see how it comes off on television and how he could’ve fixed it if it came off as sub par.

They have an entire production team and they’re doing this in an on set location. They could’ve made it work somehow

I wasn’t really as much talking about the company. I was talking bout him.

I feel him but at the same time I feel like he being dramatic and trynna making something out of nothing

Like Nak was “wearing the TNA Belt” (or the belt that up until a month ago wasn’t really even an official legit sanctioned belt and was just a prop for Moose and equivalent to the FTW belt)

He wasn’t wearing (like around his waste) the actual official canon IMPACT belt

That’s why I’m kinda like at the outrage. When it’s not the first time in the world a champ let someone else carry their belt(s)
