Hopefully Jericho retires because he was fukking horrible in that match.

Came in as the final guy, captain of his team, in a personal and heated bloodfeud, in a War Games, as if he were having a match against Marko Stunt. Zero fire whatsoever.

Blatantly calls his spots and literally just points people where to go to get in the spot he wants for some shytty spot.

Looked to be moving in slow motion not even 5 minutes in, having done next to nothing while everyone else in the match is beating the shyt out of each other and taking lots of ugly bumps and bleeding everywhere.

The ENTIRE time on top of the cage he was very, very blatantly calling the spots, literally tapping MJF when to reverse, not even attempting to hide not only reaching for the blade but was blatantly holding it in his hand the entire time he was in the arm bar and then went Flair tier blatant actually doing the cut. Then, completely stops selling multiple times to place MJF where he wants him for spots, blatantly giving him instructions. You can blame the production team if you want for capturing it all or not knowing when to cut away, but there was also a live crowd that would have seen all of that, too. Jericho is a 30 year vet and that was the most amateur garbage performance I've seen on TV in ages.

Fire promo. Tully needs to be talking more.

EDIT: I just realized how crazy MJF looks in this from the screen cap.

The ending fell flat but I’m interested in how they handle the story of Inner Circle being without their leader. I want to see Santana step up. :feedme:

the ending was unnecessary it couldve been something more emotional
have Inner Circle get handcuffed and beaten down while Jericho is getting smashed with chairs on all sides, MJF teases breaking Jericho's neck with a folding chair until Sammy surrenders , MJF does the folding chair spot anyway
Jericho coughs fake blood
EMTS come, emotional commentary etc
alot more effective

the cage spot couldve been given to one of the FTR members and it wouldve been a holy shyt spot, that shyt we saw was just cheesy not some shyt you leave a lasting impression on

Completely agree. The match was fun as hell but the pacing was awful and Jericho was the worst part by far. A good example was near the end when they were very obviously getting ready for the falling spot. They just standing around for what felt like forever and the camera cuts to Jericho and MJF having a full conversation about the spot. It just takes you out of it.

Other random thoughts: Sammy's athleticism can take him very far but his biggest weakness by far is his striking. I really wish he could learn from some of the more experienced smaller dudes on how to lay his shyt in and make it look effective.

Spears is the epitome of a jobber. I can't take this clown seriously and I wish they would just put him out of his misery already. :mjlol:

Everything else was cool. It was an entertaining ass episode.
