The only way it makes sense imo is if the favor from Heyman comes into play. Or else the favor means nothing.

My theory is that Heyman is in cahoots with Rock and the favor leads to Punk getting the title shot at Mania after losing at Chamber to Cena.

Which leads to a triple threat match between Punk, Cena, and Cody. Then corporate Punk is born and we go from there.

That Street Profits vignette was one of the best I’ve heard from them, especially Dawkins. That’s how he needs to be going forward. All that “nah fam” and other forced sounding stuff just felt so cringe.
