That was one of the very worst things to me about marine era super cena. He always found new ways to apply it wrong and make it look fake . Whether it was wrestlemania 22, 23, or just how he’d normally apply it, it would immediately break any suspension of disbelief and I’d think of the “we have purposely trained him wrong, as a joke!” line from kung pow: enter the fist . To this day I still don’t get why nobody told him to apply it right. It’s a night and day difference.
