No matter how you look at it the titles needed to be taken off GoD ideally it should’ve been the Street Profits but no matter who holds them the division is cold

Only thing good that came from this is that it forwarded two stories

But most could care less about the latter

We need stories that don’t rely on members from the Bloodline or Judgement Day. Give us a 10 minute tag match every week and a decent storyline involving the tag champs & people will begin to care. The women’s tag belts is gaining value because there’s a storyline involving 4 women teams fueding with each other.

I expected MCMG to eventually win the belt and for Jey/Jimmy/Roman to cost The Bloodline but I did not think all of that would happen tonight

My take is

GoD was given the titles to establish them as a credible group up against the OG Bloodline

Jey was given the title as a way to say he could stand on his own

Both wasn’t going to be long term reigns though GoD vs The USOs could’ve been a tag title match at WM

But I’m not defending the fact that the tag division has been booked piss poorly

Not outraged. Just feel like the Profits have been robbed of a significant win over either version of the bloodline. If the MCMG are transition champs to the Profits cool. If they get a long run and the Profits are used to pad the reign meh.

You could say that exact thing about a lot of people that have crossed paths with the Bloodline over the past few years.

The Profits aren’t the exception to that, but you don’t hear people making that argument for those other talent.
