Let him be someone else's problem:yeshrug:
Or someone else’s savior

You’re not being realistic.

They took him #1 and he showed that he is an unstoppable explosive force the likes of which we have never seen before.

There was no way there were gonna do that

Zion had no business being an all star.

And actually he did avg a dbl.dbl ..

For the 25 games he played.. I believe his 2nd year.

Point is.. it wasn't skill why he ain't work out.. it was injuries
I know injuries is why Oden didn’t pan out, which is why I don’t like to use the word “bust” when it comes to him. I remember what he was doing in college, and he would’ve been a great NBA player. He didn’t average a double-double his second season, but he averaged 11 and 8.

As far as Zion, maybe not this year when he was voted in after all the missed games, but his second season, he was definitely an all star. And we know he was well on his way to all star status again anyway if he never got hurt.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I just looked it up
He's played in ~40% of available games in his career

Damn :picard:
This is why I don’t get these dudes at all. “They had to. He’s shown in 40 games. He made the all star once. If if if if if if”

Motherfukker YOU AINT PLAYING. I’m paying you the max to NOT play. You ain’t even Kwahi where I can at least pay you for the playoffs. You playing in meaningless games, in November and December, not a top 10 player even when you are, and utterly useless the other 60% of the season.

I wouldn’t pay a nikka at McDonald’s for working 40% of the time.

What good is the talent if it's never on the court?
I understand that’s the conundrum that they faced :mindblown:

David Griffin is under tremendous pressure because he takes him #1. Everyone knows his an explosive talent but he’s keeps getting hurt

Not major injuries but little knick knack shyt but he’s under so much pressure he sits him every time he gets knicked for extra long periods of time.

This is his last shot at being a GM in the league

He’s in a tough spot

been a very patient supporter and fan of zion, but ngl it's very frustrating to watch him miss so many games. especially when this was the year he was supposed to get over the hump with health issues. dude has to turn it around and play. at least have 75% availability next season. otherwise i can see fan base issues creep in and zion potentially start losing confidence. really hoping for dude to turn the corner...

Oden was a bust
Yeah, but I look at him differently than someone like Darko. Darko was seen as someone who had all the skills in the world, but didn’t pan out. Even someone like Anthony Bennett who you could say was a bust, I don’t think he was ever worthy of that top pick, and that was a year when there was no consensus #1 pick.

He’s not a bust yet because he looks amazing when he does play and he’s still young. But if we’re having this same conversation about his health a year from now then it wouldn’t be a hot take to call him a bust. He was called generational. The best ability is availability.

Griffin is the GM for a Benson-owned organization. :pachaha:

All he has to do is exercise a little cronyism, and he will maintain his position for a while. :jordanfacepalm: @NOSaintsFan02 @taker597 @clutch @horizon @Inertia Creeps
