Greg Oden never even averaged double digit points per game. Greg Oden was never an all star.
Anthony Bennett is a bust because he was drafted high, averaged 4 pts a game, and was out of the league in 4 years. He couldn't play.
Zion can play at an All Star level. He doesn't belong in the same category as Bennett, Darko, Morrison, etc.

I think this generation of players who have gotten the max have definitely messed it up for the next generation of players who will be seeking it. I feel like one of these data nerds will do some hardline research on the topic - but just from my eye test I feel like 1 out of 4 players who receive the max actually play up to the worth of their contract.

If you aren’t ever available to play you can’t live up to your expectations and rather or not your career is derailed by injury it still isn’t trending In a positive direction. Dude has only played the majority of games his team played in one season. It’s not looking good and he’s locked into an extension.
