I copped ys origin. Gonna play that first and if I like I'll cop this

Think the gameplay is very different though. Should have just gone for this one breh. Its everything you want in an ARPG from Japan.

One thing I like about this is that even though the side quests are very much of the fetch 3 of ______ variety, but because they impact your village and allow you customise your gear, make potions etc they are actually cool today, unlikes something like Dragon Age Inquistion, for example.

Ricotta is definitely the most fun character to play with. Really like her moves.

Just finished Ch3. The flying dragon boss at the end was the best boss yet, actually forced to use flash moves to do damage.

Finished chapter four. The second half of the chapter was dialogue heavy, which isn't what you want in a Ys game.
