I love visiting NYC

Buying Mix CD's on Jamaica Ave
My aunt buying us Breakfast Bagles from the Bodega
My big cousin sending me 2 the store to buy loosies from Papi (why that old Dominican man used to make me call him papi and give me free Hostess cupcakes everyday)
We had block wars with the Spanish kids 😅

that's the exact spot I wan mentioning 2 posts above yours. where fisherman cove is at. those the ones that used to be stopped until they get enough customers. but I was talking about the ones that just rode up and down Atlantic, Flatbush and church ave all day. that hustle is becoming extinct

dollar vans still exist on Flatbush, I think they just don't go as far north as they used to but they definitely still run south of Grand Army Plaza. Also, very few vans nowadays, a lot of repainted short buses. Gas is going up and there's only so much they can raise the price.

The fake dollar vans that would stick you up after you're done shopping :francis:

:picard:

When was this? The amount of times I took dollar vans back in the day, I feel like I should have run into 1 of these just off of pure chance.
