Breh, this was NOT for the love of Missy. This entire exchange doesn't exist except for YOU and @mobbinfms catching feelings because @NO-BadAzz mentioned Missy. That is what started it. @mobbinfms kept it going because for whatever reason, he's on a mission to prove Missy flopped. And both you and @mobbinfms said you HATED her.

Don't sit there and point fingers at me when you're the one who caught feelings over the mere mention of Missy in this thread.

youre the one that caught feelings.

I stated why she wasn't even in consideration for my list and kept it moving.

and missy was alright with me back then. I didn't establish my dislike for her until later years, and I explained why.

I don't remember jay's volume 3 doing poorly at all.

sure, it was a dropoff from volume 2's success, but that's pretty much automatic.

Breh, I am not the one who was questioning why another poster mentioned her. Then when he explained why, you went on about Missy flopping, which is the first time I replied to any of your posts about Missy.

Outside of the fact that 1996 has to occur for 1999 to occur, since 1999 is later in time, I don’t follow what you’re saying

Breh, this is rather dense coming from you. Read the link you posted and you see a trend that started in 1996.

The ones I listed, but keep playing dumb.
The only albums I recall offering a "flopped or not" opinion on in this thread were Missy's album, Hell on Earth and Vol. 3.
So which albums did I not fairly apply the criteria to that makes you think I'm being biased?
Or do you just want yay or nay votes on the albums you listed earlier?

I also listed DMX's Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood, Illmatic, and Reasonable Doubt
If you saw Vol. 3, I don't see how you missed those considering they were in the same post.

Where did you get these lists?
In reading the article it was clear to me they were going by date of release (read the part about 1988). That being said, of course, I haven't verified the lists so its possible they made mistakes?

List was compiled using The Source magazine's listing of Gold and platinum albums from those respective years. Any albums that were missing, I added. I can scan in the Source list if you think I'm ying and you can verify all the dates.
