But the reviews make it seem wack

audio was the biggest complaint technically. Movie cost reportedly 205 million to make. Add in promotion, etc and the cost rises. Normally you gotta make at least double your production value to recoup. Even making 300 million internationally isn't "good" because you only get to get 20-40% of that international ticket sale depending on your contract. With domestic theaters, it's like half of the ticket revenue.

It definitely didn't make it's money back.

they need to fast track adding 4k hdr.(even for extra per month) If they are releasing these movies on hbo max. and get that shyt on my ps5 or roku

Nolan being incapable to admit that his forcing them to release Tenet in theaters this past summer and the subsequent tanking that the movie did wasn't part of the reason for AT&WB's decision is not a good look for him.

He keeps acting like there is no mitigating circumstance in the form of a worldwide virus that is making the movie industry have to do unorthodox moves.

It was a domestic flop. That $57 million would've likely been the movie's opening weekend take in the US if things were normal.

then all my complaints are gone im easy to please lmao......and as a UX/UI designer... there are some flaws to hbo max but i dont think its that bad. and the ones someone posted surely will be fixed in the future

I think we can all acknowledge that Nolan is being delusional considering the state of the world right now.

Can't speak to the deal, but HBO Max is by far the worst viewing interface I've come across in terms of digital streaming

• No option to skip to the very next episode
• No option to jump to any other episode or any other season
• No option to skip ahead 30 seconds
• If/when the episode crashes or you have to restart it, it starts you at the first episode you started watching. So, if you knocked out 3 episodes, you have to manually drag to the end of the episode 3x to get to where you were

TBH, I just jump in and out of streaming services based on new shows being released, but their experience is among the WOAT.

Severely holding the service back. They definitely have a great library like the absolute highest % of quality stuff. Netflix may have as much good stuff but you got to sift thru way more bullshyt to get to it. But the good thing is Netflix has a quality interface making it easy to navigate this shyt, especially the episode shyt is infuriating. Old shows that debuted on network TV you want to skip around and watch your favorite episodes. They make it so difficult it's almost not worth doing on this service.

definitely agree, hbomax has a great library but good damn is their interface crap

TENET sucked mad dikk....Dark Knight Rises was trash...and Dunkirk was noisy as fukk because Nolan has terrible audio
