Can't speak to the deal, but HBO Max is by far the worst viewing interface I've come across in terms of digital streaming

• No option to skip to the very next episode
• No option to jump to any other episode or any other season
• No option to skip ahead 30 seconds
• If/when the episode crashes or you have to restart it, it starts you at the first episode you started watching. So, if you knocked out 3 episodes, you have to manually drag to the end of the episode 3x to get to where you were

TBH, I just jump in and out of streaming services based on new shows being released, but their experience is among the WOAT.

AT&T/Warner tried it Nolan's way. They released TENET in theaters straight up. It bombed. I like Nolan as much as the next person but it flopped.

They really need to overhaul the UI when 4K HDR is added. I see they're already tweaking the layouts but as far as video player and navigation goes, it feels like we're stuck in 2015. Could do so much better than being a re-skinned version of HBO Now, the library deserves better.

HBO in europe been having this problem for a year and haven’t changed anything. amazon prime has a shytty layout for a long time without any change in sight.
I feel like these companies are trying to cut corners by not giving a better user experience
At least Netflix keep changing their layout for better or worse

they need to fast track adding 4k hdr.(even for extra per month) If they are releasing these movies on hbo max. and get that shyt on my ps5 or roku
