Vic needs a big game and somehow do what Dallas did to the Packers in the 2nd half last week and limit them to 13/14 pts in a half. If they can do that and don't put the game in the QBs hands, ATL should win. Force FG attempts

Of course the ATL
Wait so u actually think your defense isnt trash? :mjlol:

I know you don't actually like to read the stats i post but here goes:

We know the quick expectations for Sunday’s Falcons Packers game: each team’s elite offense cuts through the other team’s defense like a hot knife through a wheel of Green Bay cheese. It will almost certainly be a high scoring game, but the young defense (outside of Jonathan Babineaux, who just recently got his old man strength) has been stepping up in recent weeks.

It’s been a little tough to explain. No one would suggest the Falcons have a top defense, but they have been steadily improving all season. How improved? Samuel Feldman of numberFire looked at Atlanta’s scrappy defense.

Based on overall numbers, the Falcons defense doesn't look amazing. They rank 25th in yards allowed and 27th in points allowed while being 16th in total takeaways.
We’ve considered some of the reasons Atlanta is still at the bottom of the league in defense, including giving up plenty of garbage points in the 4th quarter. That’s about as far as our analytical thinking went, but Feldman went a bit further. Since the bye week, the Falcons have given up nearly 40 fewer yards and 8 fewer points per game. Woah.

Their turnover rate would place them in the top-5 for the season had they maintained that pace all year, their points allowed per game would have them inside the top-12, and their yards allowed would have them in the top-16. Furthermore, our analytics back this assessment -- the Falcons poor analytical rankings are haunted by their early-season performance. If we extrapolate their post-bye week analytics and use them based on a full season, the Falcons would be ranked in the top-15 for Adjusted Defensive NEP (total defense) and top-12 for Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP (passing defense).

Wowza. Early season Falcons were pretty weak. Vic Beasley was invisible the first month. Robert Alford alternated between crippling penalties, being burned, and making an amazing play. Deion Jones and De’Vondre Campbell have turned into speedy playmakers. Even Jalen Collins went from healthy scratch to starting corner.

The Falcons need everything they can get from the defense with Aaron Rodgers on deck. If they can keep up and play up to the 15th best defense in the league, the Falcons should make it to the Super Bowl.

plus if Green bay leave Gunter on a island by himself all game this could get ugly

i say Atlanta 34... Green Bay 27..
