drop knowledge here and there on the youth, they can use what they want out of it..trick is not to come across lecturing, judgmental that just backfires and you lose em. :ufdup:never been a fan of the foot in the ass approach anyway

In terms of dropping knowledge, there's many different approaches, I quite liked the way Pac did it. I don't think there's a wrong way, you need artists who did it consistently and artists that drop game and jewels more subtly. You need everything.

They was discussing housing discrimination for single black and latino women with kids... how black and latino men think knowledge is trying to prove your toughness with fighting and killing instead of knowledge with there head...technique was saying there's nothing more scarier to the corporate executive than a dangerous minority with a brain..

They harp on this subject as well asthey discuss women who treat there kids like friends instead of there children..

Real deep

No doubt, knowledge and organisation. Both are vital to know how to act and also to be able to mobilize that into an action plan, and structure to keep consistency. @PlutoEighth .

I know a lot of great rappers who have shared very similar sentiments in their music. I think I've seen Chuck give a speech about that very matter, some women do that, I had to check a girl I knew once cause she was doing that with her daughter, treating her like a friend, too aggressive then wondered why she had severe behavioral problems. Thankfully she took my advice, listened and acted and over time rectified the issues and the child did much better and was acting in a much more sociable and pleasant manner.

Enough is never enough..... if you ever start making big money you'll witness how little you have as you move in certain circles...trust me

Why should they help anyone ? Where was their help when they started ?

They really aren't in a position to change anything long term.......

Songs will NOT fix kids out of wedlock, police brutality or help kids create products and services/technology to enrich the black community

So why bother ?

Your ideals and beliefs reek of discontent and disappointment........why can't you be grateful that a "Jay-Z" even exist ?

Nas is an artist with a failed marriage and nowhere near financially secure .....

At what point does hiphop become greater than your personal life ?

The sheer level of thanklessness in this genre is disgusting .....

Jay should sell out even more and milk this sh!t for every single cent .......

The amount of realness & realism in this post is astounding on an exponential level :wow:

Easily one of the best posts I've ever read on a forum, and I've been web-crawling since '97 :whoo:

Chill b. This is a bait thread.

The entire mainstream hip-hop is a fukking fraud. Broke rappers talk intelligence and realness cos that's their last resort, when you ain't poppin, of course you gonna preach "I was bout that street smarts anyways" shyt.

Once you get the chance to get some of that :ld: money, you're quick to jump on that 808 kick snap snare radio single.

Gotta pay the bills yo

:manny::yeshrug:

I need a 35 yr old rapper to rap about strugglin to find a job, then a temp service hires you, then 3 months later, the company hires you on.

I wanna hear a rapper rap about needing to borrow $10 from their wife so they can put gas in the car to make it to work.

fukk it. I'ma be that nikka.

It'd be an autobiography:mjcry:
Danny Browns album The Hybrid had that vibe to me (XXX too, but thats when he really started using the high voice).
Which is why I fukk w/ it heavy.

A dope rapper talking about relateable shyt can make a strong fan base...I dont know why you dont see more of them.

Chuck speaks the truth once again

I already said that rappers have a serious case of Peter Pan syndrome...that coupled with a historically negative display of black male stereotypes creates a dangerous situation. Hip hop is the only genre of music where it's artists aren't trying to mature.

Why would hip hop try to mature? Its getting to the point that our people need to realize that this devil, the so-called white man is looking for and requiring minstrel show artists for a reason. I was watching the Stevie Wonder concert tonight and saw Barry Gordy in the audience...he is supposed to be a billionaire music mogul but he has no power in the industry because he was cornered out the industry by people with more power than him.

Like I have said before and I will say it again...SO-CALLED BLACK PEOPLE ARE DONE in this country. There is no reversing this damage here...the issues are many layers deep...deeper than an abyss and the problems are in every facet of life. Even in the areas that we appear to excel in, they are controlled and exploited by Esau. Go and research all facets of life and really look at the condition of the so-called negro, you will only come to the conclusion that an Exodus type of event will need to occur or we are done as a people. Before I got into the Truth, I actually studied EVERYTHING...from UN resolutions, civil rights, reverse social engineering, group economics, etc for 2 years. Everything that I looked at required either white input to help us or white supremacy to disappear. The common denominator was that we have a people with power that are hell bent on oppressing us and there is no reason to believe that they will change unless someone more powerful take them down completely.

I know that I am not popular for my faith in the prophecies of the Bible, but eventually you are going to realize that there is no earthly solution for our condition. Everything is very clear that we are the Israelites,,.,I am more sure of that and the impending end of this current world than I was about anything else that I have known in my life.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
None of the artist you mentioned are purposely making music for teens tho. Its moreso them pandering to they core base. nikkas on the block/ratchet hoes. If you wanna say hey grow up then fine. But stop saying they making music so they can get a teenage fanbase
that's their fanbase tho... there's a universal problem with rap... that problem is the 30 year old fan

who's making music that a 30 year old can relate to? about life? goals? women? jobs? family? etc... 1-2-3 rappers maybe? yet there's a whole entire, and bigger, amount of fans that are over 30... but they aren't getting music made for them... nah they gotta go "find" it or go underground

meanwhile there's a new fake ass rapper, lying about being 23 when he's 29, talking about fukking bytches, hitting the club and dumbing down his words and lyrics to retard level.... trying to compete with the REAL young rappers for a spot

i can't blame rappers... well i can.... but if you telling me "make real music for your age... but you gonna sell 10k copies" or "take this mustard beat, talk about the haters and hoes at the club, and you can sell 300k"

well i'm not sure i'd say fukk you, and try to make it on my own... it's gonna be 100 times harder to break in AND stay in, when the crowds stay the same age, but your content gets higher and higher
