Beast ain't no sellout. He didn't escape because he wanted to make his case to the public, in front of the world, and expose the government's hypocrisy as opposed to just running.
He was one of the best characters on the show IMO.
Pretty much. Beast was the Mutant Mandela to complement Professor X's MLK.

I remember Beast being locked up and him wanting to beat the charge the legal way but I can't remember what charge they locked him up for.... was it because he wasblacka mutant?
They got caught breaking into the gov't facility - the same one that got Morph murked. So Beast should've been doing football numbers. Hell, he should've had his trial pushed back so far, he wouldn't have even had a date until his grandchildren were born.
