I'd say over all it depends on if you do 4k gaming on your tv and how important that is to you going forward.

The Xbox One X outside of the 4K stuff and SSD speed is within arms length of the Series X
So the Series S is within arm's length of the PS5 outside of SSD and "4K stuff" but the PS5 is within football field lengths with the Series X.
