We know there is some confusion around used games on Xbox One and wanted to provide a bit of clarification on exactly what we’ve confirmed today. While there have been many potential scenarios discussed, today we have only confirmed that we designed Xbox One to enable our customers to trade in and resell games at retail.

Beyond that, we have not confirmed any specific scenarios.

Another piece of clarification around playing games at a friend’s house – should you choose to play your game at your friend’s house, there is no fee to play that game while you are signed in to your profile.

Totally fine with that, it's just like XBLA games If friend/selling used game they will have to pay the publisher. Sell it to gamestop gamestop has to give a percentage to publisher win for developers.

I applaud MS for having the balls for actually going through with it. But once Publishers see more nikkaz copping DatQuad, they won't be happy (I'm looking at you EA).

they're basically saying they haven't thought this out yet and everything is tbd. they're going to spend weeks clearing this shyt up and they're even going to have to address it again at e3

yea xb1 only, it's a good trade off for me i don't play use games and way. being able to just "login" at my friends house instead of carrying games is fantastic. I think Gamestop will have you delink your account for used games . they will still profit but not as much. personally me and my friends might just fill an account up with games and share it(not at the same time obviously)

you still need to take the game with you though fam. I mean shyt Loosey, it's the least they can do since they are about to put a serious hurting on Gamestop's business.

I hope the kickbacks from EA were good enough to offset this shyt though. Something tells me it's not.

I'm more mad at the destruction of used market on craigslist

that was my bread and butter. I only buy major exclusives (UC3 and GoW were the only games i bought new and on release date), everything else i got from craigslist, hunting good deals down.
