That's what im saying,What clowns fail to realize is that they are actually only renting said games for the next 4-6 years. Once the servers go down, those games YOU purchased will no longer be able to work. People are allowing their brand loyalty to Microsoft to allow them to get ass raped with no fukks given
Also, the fukkery that will ensue when the average consumer calls/complains to Amazon/Various electronics stores claiming their Xbox stopped working after 24 hrs and must be defective
So if i have a Xbox1 and my roommate has a Xbox1 and he has the new Halo, but i don't. He let his brother borrow the disc he can't let me see the disc even though it has already been paid for...
Imagine if you bought a car and only 2 people could drive it and other people had to pay the manufacturer a fee to use it, and it has to check in to your wi-fi every 24 hours to drive....you would NEVER buy something like that.
they can come out with "one final update" that removes the DRM if they so choose. the DRM is just software after all. i'd imagine they'll post the exact date Xbox Live goes out of service for the Xbox One and tell everyone to download and back up their games and remove the DRM through an update.
That's what im saying,
You know how EA always shuts down the servers early? they could just stop letting madden 14 work onces madden 15 comes out will they? I dunno it's EA nothing is off the table.
I can still boot up my OG xbox and play say Psychonauts on it.. but with this tech you can't.... it's that simple really.
If Sony comes through with the same BS....... I'll just stick to my Ps3 and Xbox till I run out of games that interest me
I'll be fine owning 1 console next gen.
I don't need to play every game, I don't even game like I used to anymore anyway. The people defending this are ridiculous, and like I've said from the jump, the Xbox One insults my intelligence as a consumer, therefor I'm not going to spend money on it.

Sony has a layup with the PS4 and this whole DRM issue. If they fukk this up and follow suit, I don't know what to say.
Wait until these cable companies start charging us for bandwidth. This is about to open Pandora box. fukkING SCUST
the press conferences begin in under 15 or so hours. its time. Sony will likely sell us out worse than Microsoft did. i'm willing to bet they'll say the publishers can set up their own DRM.Microsoft is really testing how far they can fukk the consumer. They obviously have their hopes very high that they can fukk us to oblivion while being in bed with EA. What type of madness is this. They are going to control when and where you decide to play games? You want a Kinect?! Naw, you have to use it now to even turn that POS on. If Sony has any brains at all they will not go down this road. E3 is a couple of days away. You can still your change your mind on this bullshyt Microsoft!! THERE IS STILL TIME!!!

In Kaz we trust
technically it won't be Sony screwing you it will be Sony telling the publishers they can police themselves. then Sony will kick back and say "hey we didn't tell them to do that, we don't require internet on the box itself so what they do is on them."If Sony screws the consumer worse than Microsoft....
All Hail Nintendo!! LOL
At a roundtable this morning, Sony's game studios chief, Shuhei Yoshida, told reporters that any requirement for users to register a game online in order to play it would be left to game publishers. Sony won't require that.
there's a phrase for what Sony is about to and has already said they're gonna pull;
Plausible deniability.
