I don't see a single person who plays Xbox getting a PS4 over an XBOX ONE for the reason you saying. If you poor you can't afford $400. XBL is a community just like how The-coli is a community. My friends carry over. Why leave that to play Knack and drive club on non dedicated servers and no Kinect'type system functionality.
What people don't realize is the Xbox system itself will be the selling point. Not the games, features, etc. Thats extra. What will pull ppl in is how the Xbox interacts with YOU. NFL Matchup is about to come on right now on ESPN. I so wish I could just be like Xbox, ESPN (actually I can ) but the way that shyt will work, fantasy football, Skype, snapping live TV or internet while I'm gaming at the same time? Basically I can be replying to you right now while I'm in the middle of a game.

You can't do that on PS4, and PS4 gamers are already envious. When its in there faces tho?

Sony loses money because they refuse to price their product competitively.

Their tvs are still priced at a premium even though cheaper brands can match the quality and for the same price you can always get better.

Their gaming division is one of the only divisions they actually make profits.

I think sony would become a gaming only company like nintendo before they kill off the playstation brand

They still have Columbia Pictures and Sony Picutures for movies/tv shows. The Xperia brand of cell phone is on the rise. They just need to get their TV business back in shape which was KILLING them.
