It's expensive. Folks responsible probably got laid off as well.I mean even this year lots of companies implied or even right out said they would be there.
Something had to happen in the planning phase that made them pull out.

Pretty sure its all apart of their marketing budgets. Microsoft isn’t paying the ESA but they are still doing a live event across the street the same day. Nintendo and Sony probably aren’t doing live events but their marketing budgets will be spent on their big games or doing some other consumer facing event
Your ass was watching along with the rest of us, so that's Fox News.No one watches either
Summer of games is poo, I legit didn't watch. And unless something has changed this year won't be tuning in this year eitherYour ass was watching along with the rest of us, so that's Fox News.
What happened to E3 this used to be the shyt??
What the hell is going on why are they trying to kill it?
The pandemic is over
Yeah as I made that post I was thinking about thisIts too expensive for publishers, cheaper and just as effective for them to do their own thing now, especially with direct to consumer video showcases
Doesn’t make sense to spend all that money on marketing to still have to share the headlines with multiple other platforms and publishers.
Rip to things like this
We had an better economy
- Passionate Developers
- Publishers that took chances
- Cheaper game developments
- Gamers that were 80 percent brain dead weirdos
- Presentations that weren't patronizing and using buzz words like Teraflops or whatever the fukk
Times a changing
