Or he saw from the inside that the company he was working for wasn’t making moves to sustain itself, so he broke off and used his nepo connections and money to keep the tradition alive.
Like the article says, no one killed E3 other than E3. Keighly couldn’t have usurped them with a similar idea if the original one was still thriving
