Xbox has never in all its iterations combined generated enough money to cover the Activision and Bethesda purchases, what profit? They'd be in the red for the next century if they didn't offload that cost onto their parent company.

Not a valid excuse. Let me break it down in simple terms retardThis is because Playstation itself is paying for the Bungie acquisition they’ve already stated this, while microsoft pays for the acquisitions for xbox division. They also reinvested money back into game development.
Playstation is the bank for Sony. They are one in the same. Playstation is Sony money.
Xbox is not the bank for Microsoft. So Microsoft can afford to use its own money for its xbox division.
Its like if Sony had a checking account and a savings(Playstation) account, but you need to dip into the savings account every month to pay your bills. So even though its 2 accounts, the money in both are used for same purpose.
While Microsoft can just charge it to their checking account, without touching their savings (xbox) account

Not sure what a thread created by a Sony stan on the FTC/ABK deal has to do with Sony Stan's making consistent threads on how Xbox isn't profitable, gamepass isn't sustainable, Xbox is bleeding MS, Sony is selling this much, Sony sold that much, console sales here, console sales there...etc etc
