Yup, cause Sony, or any large corporation for that matter, is known for their honesty.

And if you don't see the irony in a publisher saying "it's up to publishers" then I don't know what to tell you.

:usure: and you, a delusional xbot that has no connection to the industry should be trust or believed? Sony actually has something to lose if they lied about always online when their competition microsoft is getting greatly criticized for it. You a xbot on a message forum has nothing to lose cause you can just make another account.

We should listen to you? Are you me mentally ill?

Don't listen to me listen to common sense.

Drm is a publisher friendly feature. Publishers have been pushing for drm for years. Sony is a publisher. Sony saying "it's up to publishers" means "it's up to us"

Do you really think Sony would be the only publisher NOT to enact this feature?

If there's anything that has been confirmed its that the systems are very similar. Which makes it funny when Sony fanboys try to diss the Xbox for features that the ps4 is promoting.
8 Gigs of Gddr 5 makes them not so similiar. I saw a graphs from NVIDIA that basically showed the power of the xbox 720 being 1 - 2 times less powerful then the ps4. The simliarities are not that similiar if one console is inferior. Do you want a gaming console or a cable tv box friend. What are you really paying for. Over here in ps4 ville, we're paying for a company thats come out and said they're putting core gamers first. Microsoft is putting you last. Unless of course, you're just a casual gamer than maybe xbox 720 is the system for you. I need something better. Something only the ps4 can deliver this holiday season.

Why doesn't M$FT just come out and clear all this up. They know what the streets are talking about, what take much to have an official employee come out and clear this issue up. It wouldn't ruin their big reveal.

they havent even announced they have a new console, they not speaking on it at all until the reveal

DRM will be on both consoles but the difference is Sony will use an RFID DRM that way it will work without an internet connection being required... Unlike Snitchbox 720

Durango Memory System Overview -

GDDR5 has nearly 3x the bandwidth of DDR3. Even the little helper 32 mb of ESRAM can't overcome that bruh.

Just because MS put some duct tape on it, don't make it better. :bryan:

Stop posting links. Tell me in your on words. What does faster ram do.

If we are going just by tech specs than the ps4 CPU will struggle due to latency issues.

What does it do? You being real harded bruh. Latency and bottlenecks won't be an issue in the PS4 with the way it was designed for GAMING first.

System memory (DDR3) benefits from low latency (tight timings) at the expense of bandwidth, GDDR5's case is the opposite. Timings for GDDR5 would seems unbelieveably slow in relation to DDR3, but the speed of VRAM is blazing fast in comparison with desktop RAM- this has resulted from the relative workloads that a CPU and GPU undertake. Latency isn't much of an issue with GPU's since their parallel nature allows them to move to other calculation when latency cycles cause a stall in the current workload/thread.
